What we provide
An early review to tell you if there is a real technical issue. Site inspection, document review, cause and repair opinions, a written report or letter, and a review of the other side's report.
For attorneys
We can work as a consulting expert in the background or as a testifying expert. Tell us which at the start. Send the parties' names first so we can run a conflict check. For testimony, see Structural Expert Witness.
For homeowners and contractors
You do not need a lawsuit to hire us. Many disputes start with one question: is this a real problem? A site visit and a short letter is often the cheapest way to find out, and sometimes it settles things.
How we keep it fair
We report what we see no matter who hired us, say how sure we are and what we could not check, and keep notes, photos and calculations so they can be produced. We stay in our lane.
Fees
Dispute work runs under a short hourly agreement. Our fee never depends on how the matter turns out.
